The complete range of Alloy Chain is manufactured in South Africa from local high quality steel. All the sizes from 6.0mm to 32.0mm are manufactured to Grade 800 Quality with a mean stress of 800 MPA at specified minimum breaking force.
Alloy Chain is a heat-treated alloy steel chain specifically developed and manufactured for use in chain slings for lifting purposes. Posessing superior properties and high tensile strength, it is also used in many other applications requiring highest quality chains. The chain and fittings are rated at a Factor of Safety of 4:1.
Larger chain sizes 36 to 70 mm available on request.
