Inspection Points:
Remove Synthetic sling from service when any of the following are present:

Check the label for SWL of sling

Any signs of melting, charring or weld splatters on any part of the slings body

Holes, tears, cuts abrasive wear
-
Broken or worn stitching
-
Any knots in the sling
-
Acid or alkali burns on the sling
-
Surface chafe
-
or any other signs that may cause you to doubt the strength of the slings
